Excellent consideration Sergio indeed... if 47mm is the only pure bread & historical base... Why the size of the model 201A with a 44mm, should have a different attention. Talking about the size. You used a very funny words about the size reduction πππ
Ok , is the 201A one of the acceptable 44mm Homage with its small size?
Just a question to understand your personal taste/ version on the size 47mm vs a 44mm ...
This is for the clarification. On my side, I have been collecting panerai for 20 years already & I had the chance to own quite a few - I still do of course- however like many , I am concerned that this brand could end slowly like GP or others despite the job made by Cologni & Bonati.
Size has always been tricky with Panerai.
Let me share this story with you, I met one hardcore lucky purist collector in Dubai during a GTG with a Rolex Panerai 3646 with him , he shared his opinion/ version with me.
1/ you have this one and you have the homageS .
2/ With the 3646: Rolex the provider/ watchmaker, 47mm size.
3/ He bought one of the first PAM2 a 44mm for his wife because of its smallest size. Lucky wife.
Best,
Keep cool & Mahalo ππ€π»βοΈππ»
