The PreA PVD Case....
In this comparison, which is the OP6500 case is actually more grayish....
While the 9A which is a 6502 case (Some larger batch of the PreA9 actually have a 6502 case as well) has a more black color...
So I think you prefer the one on the 9A ? I think when it comes to the Paneristi edition, like the 195 and the 360, they designed it to look more like the 6500 case

OP6500 and OP6502 PVD Case Difference
A few months ago I made a post, asking about the difference between PVD OP6500 and OP6502 case So I had a chance to compare both side by side I had a PAM9A and a PreA9 OP6500 case for comparison Probably some of you might already have know the difference ...

Well, I owned 2, in my previous glorious Panerai Time.
203/ A and Pre A 9... And 202/ A... And several other Pre Vendome pieces. I loved them all, but I specially regret my non matching 202/A for the sotry behind this one, and for its incomparable beauty. Best, my friend. Nicolas.
Was it the OP6500 or 6502 case?
The 202/A is a very special, at least to me, it has the beauty, the rarity and most importantly history Especially the NonMatching version is the one to die for Best, Sam
Can't remember. I sold the watch some 5 years ago.
A watch I didn't wear a lot, because I was more in love with the 202/ A, then with the 203/ A. So, it didn't get too much wrist time. Best, Nicolas.

Base - tritium dial with PVD finish... But of corse itshard to compare with the PreV PVDs Best, Sam

I really love the more black color of the Pre-A PVD cases. Gives the Panerai a more wicked and rugged look IMO. The PVD color on my PAM195 is more greyish instead of black so it's not as tough looking. Cheers, Anthony
