Panerai PAM 36 and 40: The killer trio.
Panerai first attempt to titanium... At that time, in 1999, it was titanium Grade 2. Not Grade 5.
The PAM 36 is the Marina Militare, the most coveted " MM " after the Pre Vendome 5218-202/A, in my opinion.
The PAM 40 is a legend. It is a hidden Limited Edition of only 200 pieces. Try to see if you find it in the limited edtions list, you won't find it, and it didn't come with the LE packaging, either...
Which one came first? Hard to say!
But what a killer duo it was. An honor to have owned them.

Do you know if Panerai use Grade 5 Ti in their watches now? I never heard they upgraded from Grade 2. Someday I'll get another 44 mm Panerai again!
