Naturally..I agree with you on all counts..
Unfortunately the old Panerai only produced a few pieces before the takeover in 1997 but man...each and every watch they made...they made with the utmost perfection..Design wise...The Italians are the best.........They made it very, very difficult for the Richemont group to produce anything that can come close to these pieces...It´s no surprise their hottest models are those wich are most historically correct..I wonder why they ever changed the PreV font as can be seen on their first release (Cartier) in 1997 of the PreA series....The depth and patina of these dials are out of this world....Why change perfection?

Just look at the dial lay-out...Perfect harmony...Minute counters placed more to the centre of the ring where all other brands use the outer ring...Balance? You better believe it.. Beautiful thick case..Yes I know I have mentioned this before but mama mia...

Totally agree with byou on the fact that Panerai never released a nicer Chrono than this Mare... All is here, in its Bestial Beauty, the symmetry, the strengh, the sexy appeal of its curves..; Damn, I need to have a shower, now! LOL We really should creat...
