Mechanical feel through the crown

Most of the p3000 I've experienced seem to have almost no mechanical feel through the crown, as if it's not connected to anything. A distant clicking sound is the best I've ever had from models with the traditional crown guard. Some radiomirs seem to provide better feel, but not all, seems to be hit and miss.
The 127 should not be hard to wind, it may need a service.
