Your answer to this question will determine which one you should get. If automatic, get the 104. If manual, get the 111. If your answer is I really don't care if either automatic or manual, then u should ask yourself the next question: "Do I need the date... 

For itls cleaner dial ( no date at 3 ), and for its manual winding movement, much more enjoyable than this noisy rotor on each automatic Panerai ( and some others, too ) movements. Best. Nicolas

There are some major deals for LNIB PAM 111 and 104's on the CM's these days. Get a used PAM 111 now, wait a few months buy the 104 if you still desire
