Nico, the serial A...

is a bit of an exception. The Swiss started producing Pre-As, with the inventory they inherited from Firenze. In the meantime they opted for a different case manufacturer (no more Coro) and started receiving the products. The cases 6500 are ALL produced by Coro, whereas the 6502 are part Coro and part of the new manufacturer. That's why SERIOUS collectors only "consider" 6500 cases...collectables...because of being ordered by the Italians. The 6502 are "hybrid". The dials of the model As were already Swiss and used on 6502 cases. I have 001A with a 6502 case Pre-A. smile
