Well if you might already know Panerai composite is formed by the eletro chemical treatment of plain old aluminium. What this does to the material though is that it transformed it into a virtually scratchproof composite that is even harder than the normal ceramics used in watches. But it retains the light weight of aluminium while at the same thing giving the watch a unique appearance and smooth touch.

I recommend it highly if you want to use it as a daily beater, as you can virtually wear and wack it around with little to no adverse effects. Just don't dunk it in alcohol!
