i understand the price will be around $27,000. Isn't this very high for a titanium watch even though it is a special edition.

but when you're a hot brand like Panerai, making only 50 pieces, debuting a new titanium Radiomir case, using a brown dial and Minerva movement, I'd expect Panerai to charge a premium for the PAM322. I personally think the watch should have been priced no...  

That's quite a hefty price, and titanium isn't that exotic a metal. For a lower price, you can have the PAM 192 in tantalum ("tantalium") which is truly an exotic metal and much much tougher than titanium, both in terms of resisting corrosion and resistin...
