When it came out, 42mm were seriously frowned about, in Panerai's forums. Not many would have considered buying one. That and the extremely popular 190 and it's fantastic JL movement, were...by far...flavour of the year. I.M.O. smile

Very versatile, I chased a 338 for a while but not many available and premium was a bit too much for my liking.

This and the PAM190 are not seen here frequently.
