Breitling Boutique New York celebrates Grand Opening with John Travolta and other VIPs
Breitling, the independent Swiss watch manufacturer, celebrated the grand opening of the newly-relocated Breitling Boutique New York on Thursday, May 19. The celebration touted a star-studded list of VIPs that included: one of Hollywood’s greatest stars, seasoned pilot and aviation aficionado, John Travolta; former astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain, Mark Kelly; retired U.S. Navy Captain and astronaut who recently completed a year-long mission in space, Scott Kelly; four-time Stanley Cup Champion and Hockey Hall of Fame member, Wayne Gretzky; four-time NFL Pro Bowl quarterback, Boomer Esiason; professional golfer, Morgan Hoffman and the pilots of the largest professional Jet Team in the world, the Breitling Jet Team.

Opening Event Brings Together Breitling Ambassador John Travolta, Mark Kelly, Scott Kelly and the Breitling Jet Team
“Tonight’s event was an incredibly successful celebration with a tremendous showing from Breitling Ambassadors, VIPs and honored guests,” said Breitling USA President Thierry Prissert. “Having John Travolta, Mark and Scott Kelly, Wayne Gretzky, Boomer Esiason, Morgan Hoffman and the Breitling Jet Team in attendance was spectacular. They are all distinguished professionals in their respective fields that embody high performance, surpass personal limits and achieve superb feats, which is very much what Breitling celebrates.”
The guest of honor for the evening was longtime brand ambassador, two-time Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe winner and renowned aviator, John Travolta. Travolta has been associated with Breitling for 11 years and is an incredibly valuable partner, as he is a fellow aviation enthusiast and embodies the passion and excellence that Breitling exhibits in its watches.

As the flagship Boutique, the Breitling Boutique New York was the first to open just over five years ago. The new location includes two-stories, 90 feet of wraparound sidewalk frontage and 4,300 square feet to showcase the latest Breitling watches. The location on Madison and 57th Avenue makes the Breitling Boutique New York appealing to both residents of and tourists in New York.
Professional athletes, celebrities and VIP guests were able to view pieces from Breitling’s latest collection, including the Breitling Avenger Hurricane, the Breitling Exospace B55 and the Breitling for Bentley GMT B04 S Carbon. Each of the watches is chronometer-certified by the COSC, the Swiss Official Chronometer Testing Institute.
