I recently had the chance to have hands-on time with the new Montblanc Heritage Pythagore Small Second Limited Edition 148 at my local Montblanc boutique. This particular blue dial model comes on a very wearable 39mm white gold case and is relatively slim...

Actually it is a Minerva from Montblanc. From a horology point of view it could be a future highly collectable line of watches. You have already one in the pocket, i wil follow when i have the chance to get one.

Agree with you

However it is unlikely I will get this piece as I do not like the overall design enough. I still very much prefer their chronographs.

Why not own?

I thought you bought that delightful Montblanc. Buy it. It wil only increase in value. 1000 is a lucky number, a good reason to turn back and show us your new Montblanc 🧜🏻

Not sure if you got the correct person here?

Not sure what you mean by 1000 is a lucky number? This is an LE of 148. And don’t know what you mean by turning back to show you guys the new Montblanc? I never plan to buy it and not banking on it to increase in value.

I like it!

the layout and form of the bridges reminds me the older Unitas movements, the legendary caliber 48 is hardly recognizable! The wheels are very well decorated, I like the texture of the dial as well! What is the price tag? Yours, Adam

Nice Montblanc but no Minerva

Compared to the Frey Pythagores the dial is a bit boring, and I would have prefered a smaller size on the case. The new cal MB M 14.08 is a bigger size “copy” of the original 10½''' no. 48 Mechanical Calibre designed by AndrĂ© Frey in 1943, but I think the...

I agree, I personally prefer the old Minerva Pythagore

But it’s at least a step in the new and hopefully right direction for Montblanc.

It’s a fine watch, but is it memorable

First off, well done on the photos. The proportions of the dial are better than the salmon dial small seconds with the , significantly so for me. The problem is the is a much finer movement aesthetically. At this price point, it matters. The salmon dial ...
