Not everyone amongst us here is fully convinced that adding a date onto a mechanical non calendar watch is a feature, in spite of what watch manufacture marketing departments tend to tell us. This goes doubly so for chronographs. Yet there is the odd exce...  

Would you turn this one down though?

My developing presbyopic eyes can't see them easily with a quick glance.

So carrying a loupe with, for the date - and for checking that the movement lost none of its appeal - could that be an option?

Glad you like it, even though you own a non-date cousin

But if you are not strictly against, that's a strong endorsement invites own right

It was my first Villeret from Montblanc (I chose the WG version but the RG is soon to follow) ...
