You loved the Orbis Terrarum unveiled last year? You will love the new version, unveiled this week at the SIHH. Some changes: - A new case, 43 mm big ( 41 mm for the 2015 version ), with beveled lugs. The proportinos are quite harmonious with a 11, 87 mm ...  

because I think the \'Jamaican\' looks irie. Ya man! All kidding aside; if it has got luminous dots, it might get luminous hands as well, don\'t you think? Otherwise it would be ridiculous. Though the blue version looks nice as well. Cooler. If you get my... 

it is a bit strange MB issue an updated version so soon. As always, some owners happy, some not. Will they be offering them side by side or replacing it? Anyway, I like the movement to look better in order to buy it, not using volume or standard movements... 

So, you will have to wait till March. Back to the Orbis Terrarum, my understanding is that both co exist. Best, Nicolas

And I love the dots. They should definitely get some lume. But 41mm is A-OK with me. It would be interesting to try both on to decide. If I owned the first version, I would not be disappointed at all. After all, almost impossible to beat the original. But...

But size wise, I prefer the 41mm 2015 version. Also at this point I'm not sure if the colors on the 2016 version would grow on me or bore me in the longer term. Need some time to see.

let me state the positive: i love the orientation of the map. the focus highlights the southern hemisphere: that's interesting. the bad, it's a bit of a cliche at this point. if we think of the past 2-4 years, everyone's got their global watch with a map.... 

my first thought when i saw this, esp. in the blue, was the breitling unitime, in its earlier iterations. breitling has modified that look, but when the new unitime came about a few years back, seemed in the same vein to me.

Prefer the 41MM: 1. Better size in 41MM. 2. More modern crown, harmonious to the modern case. The new crown on the new piece makes it more classic, yet the case is still modern. 3. I don't like Lume on the dial unless it's a sports watch. And when applied... 

I agree with you that the presence of the luminous dots without luminous hands sound a bit weird, but you are surprsing me when you say that over 20 years, the lume goes and that you have to replace it, with the dial, too... Best, my friend. Nicolas

where Paris is written. I have tried the new 2016 version. Here is live photos. Note the case design is different and the calibre stays identical (smaller proportion regarding the case). As Robin, we have a small wrist and then 41mm is more adapted to our...  

And it really looks good! For me I prefer the case and size of the Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum - suits my wrist size better and also I like the cold blue dial thanks for the review Nico! Cheers Robin
