I recently started to consolidate my watch collection. Maybe all of us sometimes go through this phase of wondering how many watches one really needs and what would the select few be? In the course of this exercise, I recently acquired this NOS Montblanc ...  

Having owned one myself, I’m sure you will enjoy it. Perfect size for a retro-inspired chronograph, the dial color is fantastic, the movement is sublime, and as you mentioned, winding is a total joy.

I am to the point where I feel I should reduce the size of the collection. Just can't decide what to let go of out of fear of having seller's remorse. Everytime I think I will get rid of something I immediately change my mind and decide to keep it.

I see very much the dilemma. MY solution is to look whether (i) I have been wearing the watch over the last year and/or (ii) if I have any concrete doubt. The majority of the watches for which I had a doubt all finally went … and the watch(es) which I lik... 

worn in over a year (much longer) is my Submariner and only because it needs a service. Once I get it service it will be a new watch so then my decision may be a bit easier in regards to what should go, if any.

I love this Monopusher. Enjoy the beauty.

A truly fabulous piece and the smaller case here really makes it a lot more wearable for those of us with smaller wrists 👌🏻👍🏻
