It depends what you look for: of course, a connoisseur will tend to favour a "in-house" solution. The asset of this Montblanc is the value for the price so maybe it is focused more towards "newcomers" customers or people who want to buy an elegant and timeless watch without having to spend too much.

Actually, since I change very often the watches I have on the wrist, a PC watch doesn't have a lot of interest for is the reason why the Moonphase speaks more to me. Matter of taste! Fx

I finally got a chance to try it this past week...
I agree that I think this will be one of the most successful models in the new Heritage collection. I was pleasantly surprised by the perpetual calendar...better in the metal than can be gleamed from photos. Thanks for the review FrX Mike
