Probably my favourite of the Rieussec models released thus far!

 

I say "probably" because I have not seen this one in the flesh. It might be a bit sacrilegious, but I prefer the traditional register hands over the line's signature rotating discs. The dial's grained texture is very interesting, perhaps a bit coarser than my mind's ideal. The luminous Roman numerals are a neat touch and do not appear not intrusive to the classy dial. The movement is, as before, impressive and aesthetically pleasing. 


Overall, a very impressive watch. Still, this superb Rieussec does not tug at my emotions in the same way that some of those out-of-sight Villeret chronographs do. World class hand finishing will do that...
