Oldie but goldie!

Many, many moons ago, before Minerva passed first to the Gnutti led consortium and then to MB, they were already making very exciting chronographs. Finishing was nowhere near as exquisite but the basic movement design didnโ€™t differ much.

Here a 13.20 Chronograph from the old days, on a navy sturgeon strap for some contrast. And thereโ€™s one advantage of the old ones, they are smaller and work on a wider variety of wrists ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Definitely has been a hole in my small Minerva collection and I was happy to have filled it some two years ago ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Thanks a lot!

Chronographs used to be a lot more elegant, thinner and smaller back in the day ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป

Right you are!

That a brand dares make a chrono if 37mm and below. Zenith did some over the last years but as said - a rarity ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Perfect Congratulations

very unusual detail: the mininmal cut numerals 9 and 3 !

Indeed - when I first got it I had to look quite closelyโ€ฆ

Doesnโ€™t see as much wrist time as it should, though ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ
