But I'm not a fan of the elimination of the skeleton lugs that made it iconic, nor the reduction of the numerals as a primary focus on the dial. I understand that the new bezel is more functionally useful, but that was another change that I'm just not used to either. It just seems like a fundamentally new watch, not an evolution or a tweak of the original. The models introduced the past few years (Urban Speed) seemed like a logical evolution but this one just seems completely different.

. . . the bold red letter words RALLY TIMER on the dial. It would be challenging for THE top spot on my buy list if not for that (unnecessary) inscription. M4
I suggest you have a look at it live...
I find it is much more subdued on the wrist than in some of the pictures. But it certainly isn't an only / everyday watch
