As in the fourties the designers thought that this would improve the accuracy. The angles are all at 45, 90 and 180 degrees in the movement as an example. And overall the proportions are truly spot on πππ» As for the accuracy, for an unregulated watch itβs...

Fully agreed to that. There are always good examples of honest high end watchmaking
where the money does not have to go mostly to marketing and other overhead costs
There was practically no overhead back in the day at Minerva π

This one is from 1996 but similar models have been around for almost 50 years prior to that. After Montblanc took it over from the Gnutti family, the brand as such disappeared π€·π»ββοΈ
