Many, many moons ago, on the day I became moderator here, a kind forum member agreed to meet in a town in the middle, allowing me to take over the watch on the same day. I had the strap changed straight away, knowing getting a new Minerva one would not ag...

As in the fourties the designers thought that this would improve the accuracy. The angles are all at 45, 90 and 180 degrees in the movement as an example. And overall the proportions are truly spot on 😊👍🏻 As for the accuracy, for an unregulated watch it’s... 

Absolutely one of my favorites, too - and a grand example that good horology and exquisite design choices do not have to cost the world 👍🏻

where the money does not have to go mostly to marketing and other overhead costs

But they were an early club watch pioneer, albeit not at WPS 😊👍🏻

I met a gentleman on the day when he became a moderator here in my home town and I am still pretty sure: the Minerva found the right home. I am very happy, that you still wearing this beauty, my Friend! Well it for a long time with the best of your health...

Minerva watches I have ever seen. Do you know the Reference Number? Is it a Vintage watch or a (very well-done) Re-Issue?

This one is from 1996 but similar models have been around for almost 50 years prior to that. After Montblanc took it over from the Gnutti family, the brand as such disappeared 🤷🏻‍♂️
