Thanks for bringing us to the exhibition with your detailed post with great pictures!

I am a fan of MB in general for their men's lifestyle products (slowly converting my wife to like their jewelry as I have been buying her some of them - for watches her favorite is always Cartier and Rolex with bling bling). Must admit I wasn't into MB watches until I got to know their Villeret series with the beautiful Minerva movements.

After Villeret, I started looking at the other 2 pillars of MB watches and realized they were great looking, well made pieces (at least many of them were) and some were also of great value with more accessible pricing.

The 3 pillars of MB wants will serve them very well. They are definitely on the right track imho and starting to get more people looking at their watches. I think even here on Puristspro, there were many posts in the past on Villeret discussions but if you look at the forum in recent months, purists are starting to post their Star and NR series of MB watches. This is a good sign for MB and I wish them well as we head into SIHH 2014.

MB has been busy...it is a sign that they want to be more aggressive imho. I cannot believe it is "easy" to attend all these shows around the world...its got to be expensive but I think it is the right move. Montblanc needs to be more visible. Quite hones...

As I said, the Montblanc presence in Paris was more than an exhibition of watches! Thanks to the presence of the watchmaker, it was also a way to focus on the horological contents of their collection. Good idea! Fx

I really love the progression of the Rieussec line, and the Rising Hours model is very nice. I wonder if MB will make a perpetual calendar version someday :) Cheers, Anthony
