Montblanc was one of the few Richemont brands which attended the 7th edition of the Salon Belles Montres a few days ago in Paris. It was not a surprise since Paris and France are a very important market for the brand. The large boutique located at the rue...  

Is a true innovative and very interesting watch. I need to find some time to check it in metal. Is this watch available on all Montblanc boutiques? Cheers, Nilo

FrX, Thanks for your overview report. Alas, it raises more questions. I know some of the watches were explained at SIHH or Hong Kong show but i still need clarification. Maybe it is the French terminology? What is the meaning of Quantième? I can see day d...

:-) Really? There must be more snowballs than Montblanc Timewalker watches there! Still, a time zone is a time zone and more unique than the usual South Georgia or Honolulu found on such watches. Regards, MTF

Q: What is the meaning of Quantième? I can see day date month moonphase but not the year. So, a Quantième complet just means calendar complete but without automatic calculation of months with more/less than 30 days? A: quantième is the rank of the day in ...

MB has been busy...it is a sign that they want to be more aggressive imho. I cannot believe it is "easy" to attend all these shows around the world...its got to be expensive but I think it is the right move. Montblanc needs to be more visible. Quite hones... 

As I said, the Montblanc presence in Paris was more than an exhibition of watches! Thanks to the presence of the watchmaker, it was also a way to focus on the horological contents of their collection. Good idea! Fx

Thanks for bringing us to the exhibition with your detailed post with great pictures! I am a fan of MB in general for their men's lifestyle products (slowly converting my wife to like their jewelry as I have been buying her some of them - for watches her ...

I really love the progression of the Rieussec line, and the Rising Hours model is very nice. I wonder if MB will make a perpetual calendar version someday :) Cheers, Anthony
