I Blame Nico for this...

...as he has diligently kept us up to date on forthcoming Reverso anniversary models. That got me to thinking...I've owned a few and never felt they were just right. The 46's are too bulky--I can't pull them off. And the 42's didn't inspire me. So when I stumbled on this one, I thought it might be perfect.

And I fear I was right. It's the 42mm "Art Deco", produced in 900 copies (rose gold) and 200 (white gold). The movement is ornately decorated and simply beautiful to behold. And the dial is right out of the Reverso history books. Simple dagger markers, proper square subdial and a minimal amount of printed information.

Now, I don't have to struggle with which anniversary model I might fancy. This one suits me just fine. Best, Ken in NYC

Agreed that this Art Déco is one of the most tempting, Ken... But I would not underate the power of attraction of the latest Reverso. Too bulky, you said? Wait to see the slightly inferior proportions ( compared to an XGT ) and the MUCH slimmer case. Best...
