AR Coating on MC GMT?
Hello-
I currently have a MC GMT that I am having a VERY hard time reading due to the glare of the crystal. The combination of the polished hands, shiny black face and flat crystal has made this watch almost unreadable in many situations. I never noticed a problem with my master control, perhaps because the face is silver? Does anybody know if the crystal can be replaced with one that has an anti-reflective coating or have the coating applied to the existing crystal?
Thanks.

Not sure if this a prefered or recommended method. You could have the AR coating buffed away. A few of my friend who dive have done to their watches due to poor visibility underwater. Not sure of the implication to the sapphire, if any.

JLC sporty watches receive an AR sapphire, while the others don't. It is very easy to remove it, though. Remove your sapphire and use some " produit vaisselle " ( Dish soap, in English ? ). I will ask for a confirmation from my contact. Best, Nicolas This...

Thank you for your suggestions. In this case, however, I would like to add the AR coating to my watch to help with the readability. I have an IWC pilot with a black face and the AR coating that I can read from across the room. I also have never had any tr...
