Hands on with the JLC Reverso Tribute Nonantième

My local JLC boutique invited me over to have a look at one of the latest novelties that just arrived. Since I was in office and we are moving into a strict(er) lockdown, I decided to drop by to have a look.

The Nonantième is one of the few novelties which celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Reverso. Housed in a rose gold case, you get a traditional Reverso dial in a satin, sunburst silver, marked by crisp incides, sharp dauphine hands and a moonphase complication at 6 o'clock. Flip it over and you get a unique display of time; semi-jumping hour indicator and a rotating day/night indicator. Winding the movement, you get a buttery smooth sensation; very calming. Perhaps my only gripe with this watch is the paltry 42 hours power reserve. To further clarify -- watch is a working prototype, but I'd be concerned also about the scratches that will clearly develop over time...

For similar money (market price) as a steel, white dial, ceramic Daytona, you could have the Reverso Tribute Nonantième, which is limited to just 190 pieces worldwide.

Anyway, just thought I'd share some (terrible) phone pictures.
