I had the chance to cross the way of these 2 Black Beauties, today, at the JLC Boutique... So, I took a series of pictures, but for the moment, just one which means a lot. On the Left, the Duometre à Chronographe, in White Gold. On the right, the Duometre...

There's no shortage of movement decoration here, and these 2 pieces (I am told a particular expert) exceed ANYTHING PP or Lange have out....but you would know better Nicolas. It's these pieces that I hope JLC will keep as slow-release, continually adverti... 

About the Duometre, I was told ( in October 2009 ) that there were a few hundreds made ( à chronographe ), and my guess is that JLC wants to see this Duometre lasting quite a long time. I don't see why it would be different for the Q.L which is a mor... 

I love the watches. And, the good news, is that they are SO far out of my reach that I can thoroughly enjoy them without worrying about breaking the bank. That is because they are TOTALLY beyond my financial reach. So, keep them coming Nicolas! As a side ... 

Knowing that some Beauties exist, in this world, is already a feast. Well, it is better if you can get it, true. Pleasure is not a question of money: I can't afford an Aston, but each time I see one in the street, it makes my day. As for the Vintage, yes,...

Have I seen that before? Looks familiar and still my favorite of the two. Perhaps evnof the the line. And agree the moon phase is a improved on this one. Best Christian

I have to replace my Duometre à Chronographe in platinum, which is part of the watches which have gone, sadly... The Black sister could be a great alternative, for sure. Unless I go on the Q.L, or even better, on both. Don't really know which one is ...

Absolutely awesome picture of two stunning black beauties. Interesting to note that the Chronographe is still available. The tough part is choosing one over another. Wonderful executed but one thing that bugs me is the plate 'No xxx/200' on the dial side.... 

Rather than the LE number, which I don't care at all, or, better said, I would have preferred seeing that these 2 black are limited in production than in Edition. But, for once, it is not a too high LE, which is a good thing. Best, and thanks for your enc... 

and you composed the shot encompassing the two most interesting parts of the dial from both pieces... Love the Chrono and admire the moonphase...ARGH..too bad my banker will not allow it! Nice one counselor!

There are truly some very interesting things on these 2 black Beauties. I'm often deceived by the moonphases, but here, I'm fascinated by its design, its feeling. Best, Nicolas.

And that is saying a lot! But alas, it is not affordable for me. Well it is, but then I would probably have to allocate my annual 'watch fund' to it, and there have been too many great pieces, haha Any chance they will do one in steel Nicolas? After all, ... 

JLC, when they released the Duometre, in 2007, clearly stated that there will not be a Duometre in any other metal than a precious one. The Perpetual Calendar you're speakingf about doesn'tg have the same level if finish and decoration, it is targetted in...

hi hi.... Seduced since I saw the black chrono, mesmerized when I saw that blue disc on the QL, daydreaming ever since...... Best looking watch case in a while,best feeling when on the wrist all the time I strap it on,exciting all the time.... Did I menti... 

Are easy AND lasting Loves, while the Pt Duometre à Chronographe is more understated, discrete, but not less appealing. The RG is a nice compromise: Less understated, warmer. The WG? A killing piece! Best, my friend. Nicolas.

The RG Chrono has an elegance that comes from the grained dial that is umbeatable for me.....retro and modern,with presence and beauty. There was almost no reason to go for a RG QL even though its a marvel,because its a very similar watch in feelings and ... 

It is not that easy.... To say all, it is really tempting to get the pair, even in blacck. Still have to work on my post... Will be a long one. Best, Nicolas.
