You can't go wrong with any of them. The issue is that both are very tough to find in correct and good condition.

both is the easy answer, but if I had to choose a single one then the pocket watch!
The pocket watch is sublime and more useful than one can think.
In winter, many times it is easier to take something out the pocket than rolling up several slleeves (coat, shirt...).

Very difficult to chose between them but if one only then I would go for the pocket watch. I already have a nice selection as you know including proper chains in white and yellow gold 😉 so this one would fit perfectly www.watchprosite.com
