It’s a level for which nowadays a screw down crown is unnecessary but often used due to laziness. At least the compressor crowns didn’t require the fiddliness of having to unscrew the crowns for winding or adjustment.
One could add a significantly higher level of WR but then hardly anyone would actually benefit from that 🤷🏻♂️

And here’s a wishlist for JLC: - A new sports watch with compressor crowns - Thinner and more wearable on a larger range of wrists than the MCM - Quickset date - One novel thing not seen before. Who else would like something such? ...
