Go to your AD, and show it to him...
He will test if in front of you, and if it is magnetized, it will last 10 minutes for him to solve the problem.
If not, he will have to send it to the Repair Service...

Problem with my new Master Compressor Geographic
This just started happening in the last two days: I can manually wind the watch 30-40 times but then if I just put it down and don't wear it, it stops. Any thoughts?

I don't think that is the problem, Nicholas...
The watch repairman at my local JLC AD said that magnetization would only make it run slow or fast. He also said that if it winded fine when I wear it on my wrist all day (and it does) then there is no problem with the winder. He did tell me one interesti...

If you wear it, after having wound it 20 or 30 times, it is ok...So this is not the winding system. TRy to wind it 80 times, and we'll know... You're right about the def of " time ", when you turn the crown. That's why I don't count when I wind a watch. L...
