Honestly, those GMT watches don't really make a big difference - at least not for me - and I travel a fair amount. I'd just stick with a simple watch! And never travel with a perpetual calendar, some of those you can't go forwards nor backwards!
While not a true GMT watch, her hour hand can be advanced or moved backwards in one hour increments without interfering with the second hand which makes it ideal for travel. In addition, very universal design and "under the radar".
