Both fab watches.
The powermatic has a lot of appeal - can't comment about the crown, did have a look in Zaf Basha's book and doesn't look way out. Though not seen many in the flesh.
As for RDM - great watch with either silver or black dial

I would go for a stainless steel Powermatic Jumbo, or for this black RDM.

A very different look, but I like the shape of the hour and minute hands, and the blue
