The new Texalium dial from Jaeger-LeCoultre! PART1
May 14, 2010,00:01 AM
Hello all!
I just returned from a happy outing taking photos of the new arrivals at the friendly neighborhood JLC Beverly Hills Boutique. Let's start with something that really caught my eye, a JLC Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph with a Texalium dial! My pics don't do it justice as the case has a really nice light shade of Pink Gold and a beautifully textured dial. This piece is one of those that you must see in person.
Hour, minute, date, chronograph, hour counter, 30-minute counter,
and a world time display.
Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 752 with a 65 hour power reserve. The grey subdials matches so well with Texalium dial, just awesome!
The dial is made of an ultra cool looking 'Texalium' which is a carbon fiber-like material which is a fiberglass base fabric coated with aluminum (
TEXALIUM is derived from the words
TEXtile and
ALumIn
IUM). The material is designed to withstand extreme conditions as this is an extreme watch!
18-carat Pink Gold with titanium accents. 46.3mm case.
Note the integrated quick change strap system.
Next up: JLC Memovox International, Master Memovox, & Master Chronograph!
