The extreme lab series cases seemed one iteration further developed than the extreme world watches
The extreme lab 1 & 2 fully encircled the inner case with the outer case vs extreme world series left the inner case partially exposed on the sides. Further, the extreme world cases were stainless and titanium vs the extreme lab cases in titanium and carbon or TiVan15. Additionally for the EL2 the chrono pushers have metal case mounted covers and a recessed crown so all the controls are protected vs the tough but ultimately more exposed compressor crowns. Finally, a bracelet might be better even with a single spring bar but as straps go the EL2 has the dual spring bar straps and double pin buckle.
I would say from a case perspective the extreme lab 2 has it for ruggedness.
I'm with Nico, I would say the Extreme Lab 1 and 2 followed by the Navy Seals line and Compressor lines 😉👍
I have an Extreme Lab 2 Ti and a Navy Seals Alarm, both of which I have worn through anything and everything from extreme sports to sky diving, etc...They never skipped a beat 😉👍

By movement design, the AutoTractor, which is the dual-time found in the Compressor Hometimes, would be the most robust. By case design, the Extreme World series, since the case had a shock-absorber system to protect the movement. Oh, how I wish JLC would...

Agreed. The Extreme Lab series was and is JLC's most technically advanced watches in terms of durability, resistance, materials, etc...The autotractor movement inside the Compressor series has already super robust but the Extreme Lab series...
and the movements used took it to another level. I still hope JLC will reintroduce or make an Extreme Lab 3 as I would be queuing in line for one if necessary 😉👍
