I am in fact not too worried about the availability per se - the two Hometime models are different yet both appeal to me - in different ways. My primary intention was simply to understand if JLC indeed are doing some changes to the Hometime model as the information on their site is conflicting.
As a side note, I'm surprised not to see more discussion about the JLC Hometime on this forum which is surprising as in its price class the quality and aesthetics are top of the line. Currently costing "only" £4700 tax free in the UK, what serious contenders, if any, would there even be to the hometime (ones that do NOT have ETA movement, are not diving/sport watches and have at least one complication: the date; preferably something more as otherwise I would be going for JLC Master Control).

What has happened to JLC Master Hometime?
Here goes - my first post on PP forums. Originally found my way here in search of information on the sublime Master Hometime. I'm planning to acquire the watch in the near future and just noticed that whereas in the current model the subdials are located ...
I will soon know which models are discontinued, or which will receive an evolution.

... you'll probably be able to find the one you want in the secondary market. I had a similar problem earlier this year - had my heart set on a Master Moon, but found it was discontinued a few years ago and replaced with the Master Calendar. Didn't care f...

I know for a fact that they are still to be found at boutiques and ADs. Saying that, I too am not sure if the new one isn't more aesthetically appealing,,,, Cheers Asi
