As to the day/month window size:
Well - not that easy for me - maybe others (Blomman, Nicolas or Clavi ?) will be more experienced to answer that,
and I am also still about learn more about these Vintage Triple Dates:

I will try, nevertheless:
- yes, from what I have seen on other pieces ( pics only) , the windows appear a bit larger larger, in general, especially with benefit of the day-window,
and in several languages there appear to be (one) more letters.

Here find a link, from a helpful post from our friend Blomman, ( August 2010) , which I also referenced - you'll find german language there on his,
and in the same post - sequence, Clavi has shared a wonderful set of multiple Triple dates, with various languages:

(if link doesn't work - do a search "Why not so many teardrops anymore?!

- I was specifically intrigued by my French version,( somehow appropriate ..), and thus, by the fact that for several months, the full word will thus fit

- Nice, in a way, I found - all this during a period when there was time and opportunity to spell out things, not to abbreviate it all
- to have a bit more "space" and still an elegant solution for the 2 windows, IMO.

It looks to be in excellent condition. I really like the red day/month/date. It works well with the white metal case. The blued second hand is nice as well. If you have more watches like this, please post more pictures. These pics are great, and I am sure...

These vintage triple dates from jlc have a timeless elegance as well as some of the nicest finished movements for the ones made during their era. Some watchmakers rate them as good as vintage Pateks and that is easily understandable. Congrats on your watc...

Yes, in a way a third color: - blue second hand & all the red also nice - next to the matching RG indices, playing with light sometimes. Specifically the red date arrow often makes me smile, - the pointer of 'Today'.. Thank you for your comments, Best , h...
