i would never buy a piece of art just because it could be a good investment , you must love it first, if afterwards it turns out to be a good investment then thats a bonus. i will regard my timepieces the same into the future.

greetings and salutations purists, after what feels to be an eternity my AD called today to announce my JLC has arrived. Just some background to this story i originally was going to buy a patek 5980 however on getting together with Mr Lambert and some oth...

Not that the 5980 is not a good watch, it is, but getting a 5711 and a Reverso Grande Date is a very cool option. It was the 2d Grande Date of the modern era, the first being the Septantieme. As for new releases, take your time, enjoy what you have, then ...

Together with a 5711 ( my fav. Nautilus), you will no doubt be having a happy X'mas. To go back to the essence of why we enjoy these mechanical marvels and not be unduly influenced by hype, rarity, LEs and marketing is in itself refreshing. Thanks for sha...
