Great article. I am a huge fan of the Amvox 2 and it is amazing that this unique marvel is still so available. I also think that the use of grade 5 titanium is such an important detail for my version. I’m amazed at how scratch resistant it is. The beautifully matching date wheel in brushed steel is another often overlooked detail. My example’s movement has proven to be amongst the most accurate I have ever owned, and I really appreciate how the vertical clutch allows for worry free use of the chrono for a constant sweeping seconds, if one so chooses.
My quibbles are that I think I would have liked to see the start stop levers at the top of the dial also revealed, and I think a larger easier to read font for the subdials would have been nice. Finally, I worry about finding replacement straps. There are many variations, and I wonder if one can get any version readily from JLC.

Ah you own the first version in titanium. The first generation of Amvox II will always have a special place in my heart. This concept is so great that I really hope we'll see it again.
As for straps, you, those of the Amvox II and III can go on it. They were available before Covid. I hope it is still the case. Best, Nicolas
