I'm a big fan of the grained dial, but, at the contrary of the Duometre à Chronogaph, there is no white metal grained dial Duometre à Q.L. So, to me, the only choice is the WG version, when it comes to the Q.L. But I'm thinking about the Chorongraph, and ... 

Indeed, the more I read about it, the more I am fascinated .. ( I guess , meanwhile I havere-read most of the reviews about this specific Duometre - crazy ? - no , necessary, in a way , as if the concept, the whole "IT" will only open itself up after a wh...

Just for completion, comparison and my curiosity: - the list prizes for Duométre á Q.L. In RG/ YG, I remember to have been around 25/26,5 k ( post from 2010 by Dje, if I remember ; but maybe that meanwhile has been moved upwards..), which is putting the W... 

Saw their price increase, since the 1st of April. 8 / 10 %. So the difference between the RG and the WG is around a bit less than 20%. Best, Nicolas.

it is peculiar how this model doesnt come with the deployante buckle.It is very strange as many models from JLC come with it and especially at this level. All the Duometre family comes with it apart from this WG version.Is there a reason for it? Consideri... 

Well, you have to know that, if I remember it well, ALL the Duometre à Q.L saw their price increasing this year. If I'm not wrong, the YG and RG are more towards 28 K euros, now, while the WG is 32 000 Euros, which makes a difference of around 15 %. I wou... 

is not extremely expensive like other brands.....so maybe ..in the future... You are right though,the gap is around 4k and it has the simple buckle.a bit much but.....maybe WG is more expensive?Or a little premium for the LE?Or the dial requires more work... 

JLC is not the only one to ask for a premium on their WG watches. I don't think all the brands do it, but a lot have this strategy. So it may be due to the metal, to the L.E phenomenon, too. As for the buckle, yes, I saw it again, 3 days ago, and loved it...

Both last year and this year. You are right in pointing out several points, such as the global economy's state, the premium for Platinum, which causes the already minority who is able to afford such pieces to diminish even further. But i find that it is i... 

The Duometre à Chronographe, which is available in platinum since 2008. And if you want a platinum watch from the 2011 collection, the MGT Tourbillon is for you. Nonetheless, I agree with you that I would be pleased to see more platinum watches among the ... 

( is that how you spell it? ) But the MGT 43 is remontage automatique!! How dreadful to even think of it! Alas, nothing for me. Yes the chronograph is nice, i still get to see it here and there during my travels, but i'd like to see something totally new,... 

It may be one of the most original chrono conception! The grained dial of the pt version is awesome, and if you're in search of a certain exclusivity, go for the Boutique Edition, with its uniqe white dial. Next year? Yes, my guess is that there will be s... 

Although i think i'm reading that the use is obsolete in France already? The concept of the Duometre is very unique i will agree, but i think it's not what i am looking for exactly. Well, i do wish to own more JLC, but for JLC when i think of it, i think ... 

I realize I've just noticed that its dial doesn't have the 2 "windows" through the dial behind the 2 power reserve hands (as for the pink gold version). What I find most stunning is the contrast between the black dial and the all blue tone moonphase disk,...

That is an excellent question, my friend. If it depends on your lifestyle, this Duo is very polyvalent. I mean you can wear it formal or casual, there is no special problem. But it may depend on many other factors: This is the killing question, but a damn... 

I like the rose gold better. it's because the front is partially skeletonized, I love that aspect of the dail in the rose gold version. I also would have liked to see a platinum version, white gold is just to fragile. Thanks for the post! Cheers SamEE

I loved the Duometre à Q.L at first sight, and it was last year when the colored gold versions were introduced. While I much prefer white metal cases, I must admit that the colored gold wroks very well on the Q.L, giving it a very nice retro touch. T... 

When I see the WG Duometre, it is unappealing to me, maybe the gold chrono hand is too strong, the black dial is very contrast with the case, just bit boring. but this WG QL is totally different, what change them is the blue moonphase, looks much more ele...
