Thanks for the reply.
I wanted to purchase this watch and I was hoping
for more responses.
On Rolex, which I am more familiar with, this
notch is a bad sign, means the dial is refinished.
It is used to align the dial plate with the refinish
tampon.
I have looked at every Memovox raw dial I could find on
the internet.  It seems that many have this notch.
NOS and oviously unrestored examples included.
Many other JLC dials seem to have them also.
Here are a few examples I found.
Can anyone else shed some light here.
