Interesting comments. Why would you avoid swimming if it is certified as waterproof to 50m? The best you could get to in a pool is probably 5-6 metres. Simon

I kow, I was amazed myself, but all the guys told me, and JLC and other brands too, that if you want to swim with a watch, you have to choose a minimum of 100 meter WR. When you dive from a swimming pool, the pressure is higher, when you swim, it's the sa... 

I presume I am OK to swim in my EWC as it is 100 metres rated and has the screw down compressor crown and pushers. Is that a fair assumption? I swam a lot with my Cartier Chronoscaph (also 100 metres rated) at it was fine. Thanks. Simon
