Was the third JLC I ever bought.
I was totally inlove with the Gran Sport line!
Unfortunately I didn't have the budget to go for the Chrono...
A lot of good thing came with this line.
Strangely, the line was only in the collection for a few (4-5?) years...
Very happy that the interest for these are comming back!

As the most underrated chronograph ever produced. While I prefer the anniversary Chronographe Retrograde, if one of those cannot be found or afforded, then this Gran Sport Chrono will do nicely. Really quite a stunning movement and original presentation b...
Totally underrated, yes. Misunderstood, I am pretty sure.

To most people, probably because this watch was not designed to fit with a leather band. The concept of being sporty at the time was to wear the watch with no worries which is true on rubber or stainless steel bracelet. In those days, people probably were...

It is not a difference of technicality, but of finish between the two movements.

Yes, a very short life, indeed.
BUT, as some good opus, sometimes it takes time to fully appreciate them. The Gran Sport Chrono has some excellent horological input, combined to a cool sporty look. Time to become a classic? Best, Nicolas
