Polaris Mariner Memovox, what's everyone opinion of it ?

Hi fellow members of the JLC sub forum.

Looking for some feedback and guidance.

I am eying the Polaris Mariner Memovox quite a lot and wonder what is every owner experience with it since it has been unveiled 2 +years ago. To me Memovox is as tied to JLC as the reverso so this is in part the reason why I love the Polaris Mariner Memovox.

A bit of background on me. I Had some JLC in the past ( master chrono 2 and Navy seal ) both were rock solid and no issues with them. Then I got carried away into the brand with the big crown... Got everything from Daytona to Pepsi and Fluted 41 DJ and 41mm sub. All nice and solid, nothing wrong with them but instead of constantly chasing the same stuff that everyone out there is chasing and paying these absurdly inflated prices, I started looking again at JLC. Looking back to what collecting watches meant for me and why I loved watches so much. I went back exploring the Watchmaker of Watchmakers .

How does it wear with the dimensions on paper, seems very substantial, how reliable has it been ? Any complaints ?

Thanks for your valuable input.

Regards

Dominic

As a huge Polaris Fan, I must say that the Polaris has to be a Memovox. It is its " raison d' ĂȘtre ". Now you have the choice between the original, the Tribute, the 50th Anniversary and this one. The Polaris Memovox Mariner adds a strong touch of modernit...

Your review is a reason for me to look into it.

I agree with you Nicolas, the polaris has to be memovox. I also agree the price is somewhat on the high side but there are no other offerings like it to compare. I also keep in mind that what I paid for the Pepsi GMT Master 2 is more than the retail for t...
