Is there anywhere I can find JLC serial numbers? Trying to date this 36mm 18K automatic that I saved from the scrapper yesterday...just couldn't bare to let it be melted down! The serial number's 1045915 with the letter "A" under the number. Haven't had a...

I plan on finding a wrench this weekend so I can open it up. I generally don't buy a watch without knowing what's inside but in this case I had to act fast. It's not a style I would normally buy, but I just couldn't let it be melted down for scrap! Emil

...and I'm not sure what I think of the integrated band. It's not a style I've ever been particularly found of, but it's growing on me. I've considered having the band removed and lugs added, then having the buckle attached to a custom made leather or all... 

So a strap could be a more wearable option... Let us know! Nicolas
