Never tire of seeing this..

Probably my favorite JLC together with the reverso rouge.

I understand how the 50th anniversary Polaris can't be a tribute of a tribute a la 68 but I hoped they kept the same size. One of your posts had a side by side and one can't help notice a bit of elegance was lost in retranslation. But, but, but it is still, I think, a job decently done. I saw a Polaris on rubber strap on the wrist of Henry Cavill in some interview with Simon Pegg (who was wearing a Speedmaster on a bracelet). It looked really good. Watching that interview, I was telling myself that the Polaris really looked handsome and on the other how the Speedy also looked great on Pegg.. which made me suddenly miss mine!

Anyway, there was a chance to jump on a TP68 a few years back but alas, the financial timing was off.

I'd love to have a few minutes of wrist time with this one on a tropic strap. It'll probably give me one of those retro time warp feel like how I do with my 60th Rail.

And the kicker here is really that I was born in '68. So this is kind of a must have hahaha!

Thanks for sharing!

Best, Echi

While a complication is difficult, simplicity is seldom easy. I think JLC gets it right across the entire spectrum.
