has arrived for Christmas!

Isn’t she beautiful?



Well, I have ogling with this particular watch for more than 10 days, since I saw it first in the window at one of my favourite watch and jewellery store. Nobody wants it...

What is not to love it? Grande case, Reserve de Marché, Phases de Lune, Day & Night indication, guilloched dial, blued hands, and the icing on the cake:



Three cheers! What a view for the double barrels 8 days movement! And see the stars on the sky!

I think the reason why this beauty was lonely for such a long time is her clothes: not everybody’s style is the stainless steel “skirt”, if we are talking about Reverso, everbody think about the leather clothes ( strap ) of her Majesty...

And why I have been waiting for such a long time?

First of all, you must reach a certain age and phase of your collection, nobody starts the watch collecting with an 8 days Reverso with stainless steel bracelet.

My second reason was the fact, that the old retail price of the watch made the watch accessible and attractive in 2020. What was not cheap in the 2000’s, made the watch a bargain in 2020...

The watch itself runs beautiful after sitting in the shop window for around 15 years: it goes a liitle in minus in the first 4 days, around 2-3 seconds per day, than everything changes, the watch starts gainig around 1-2 seconds per day, and for the eighth day it reaches the original starting point. What an adjustment!
