My favorite worldtime!
This globe is my favorite worldtime clock.
Time can be read on a circular strip that makes a complete rotation in 1 day. The power reserve of the movement is 8 days.
The scale is mentioned at the bottom of the globe: 1 mm for 65 km
It is also written the map was provided by the official suppliers of the Ministry of Public Education
This globe is a real invitation to travel, around the world, but also in the past.
From the Equator to the North Pole.
And hereafter is an extract from a JLC calalogue in the late 30s, where some desk and table clocks are represented, including the Globe (ref 163).

I wasn´t aware of this beauty ...
and it seems that I have to do more research, regarding JLC table clocks ... Did you hunt it because of your broken arm, as sort of compensation for not beeing able to use a wristwatch? Just kidding ;-) Would love to see more (detailed) pictures. Oliver
