It's a great looking watch Baron. The Mk11 is considered by many to be the ultimate military wristwatch. It was specifically designed to certain technical specifications
and  in fact only two brands made the anti-magnetic watch initially, IWC and JLC - there might be a third as well.

When I started collecting over ten years ago the JLC sold for half the price of the IWC. Now they sell for the same price and in some cases I've seen the JLC command
a higher price. I don't mention this for any monetary reason, but more as an illustration of how over the last decade the research and information uncovered about
the two watches has allowed the JLC version to be equally, if not more highly, considered than the IWC.

I'll just add that I love the IWC one as well, and now you're a Mk11 collector, it might be worth adding one of those as well.

The Mk11 has been a target ever since "he who must not be mentioned" showed me a scan of one of his several versions. Ironically, it wasn't a JLC that really hooked me... but I wanted a JLC most as it fits with my collection. I have a JLC that you don't? ...
