For the wonderful pictures and sharing the story behind your timepiece. I feel we share the same parallel in this instance - my piece will invariably always remind me of my (late) mother. For me, seeing the watch in motion, provides a ‘living’ reminder that she’s still around in some form.
Think your photos will inspire me to drag out my dSLR and macro lens tomorrow - both of which have been laying dormant for longer than I care to admit.
