I was offered the perpetual and passed.
Too crowded of a dial. This watch should show off the dial, not complications. I did get a discount to help with the cost.
My AD worked with their JLC rep to have it brought in.
Perhaps it started as a boutique exclusive, but COVID changed things. I’m not sure.

How is legibility in the flesh? I was always drawn to this dial when it was introduced but was worried that in real life the combo of the dial texture and shiny hand may not be easy to read in some light. What has been your experience?
No problems with legibility..
But I’ll be honest, when I look at it, it’s to forget what time it is. I’m taking a break from reality to get lost in its radiance, not figure out what time it is.
